We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Engineer to manage and optimize the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for engineering and technical projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure that procurement activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand material and equipment specifications.
Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare and review technical specifications, purchase requisitions, and RFQs (Request for Quotation).
Analyze quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any procurement-related issues or delays.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
Track procurement KPIs and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Assist in cost reduction initiatives, supply chain optimization, and supplier development.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely delivery and inventory control.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in engineering or manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, technical purchasing, and contract negotiation.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software is an advantage.
Understanding of industry standards, materials, and technical specifications.
